Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Administrator

Location: New York City, NY

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 1 day onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize our Salesforce environment while driving user adoption and data quality initiatives across the organization. This individual will serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, partnering closely with business stakeholders to enhance system functionality, streamline processes through automation, and ensure users are effectively leveraging the platform. The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce administration expertise with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for supporting nonprofit operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) platform, ensuring system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Design, build, and maintain Salesforce Flows to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor and improve data quality through data governance best practices, duplicate management, validation rules, and ongoing audits.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights for leadership and key stakeholders.
• Drive user adoption through training, documentation, process improvement initiatives, and ongoing user support.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support requests, troubleshooting issues and managing user inquiries.
• Establish and manage a Salesforce helpdesk process and ticket backlog, prioritizing enhancements, incidents, and system requests.
• Configure and maintain user profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing settings, and security controls.
• Implement UI enhancements and page layout improvements to create an intuitive user experience.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and translate needs into system improvements.
• Support a growing user base, currently consisting of approximately 30 users with future expansion potential to over 120 licensed users.
• Maintain system documentation, release management processes, and platform best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Salesforce Administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC); candidates with strong Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) experience will also be considered.
• Strong experience building and maintaining Salesforce Flows and process automation.
• Experience managing data quality initiatives, including data governance, data cleansing, and duplicate management.
• Proficiency creating reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights for business users.
• Experience supporting Salesforce end users and driving platform adoption.
• Knowledge of Salesforce security architecture, including profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
• Experience making UI enhancements and system configuration changes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
